Air Purification For Hospitality & Leisure

At the heart of all things Evergen, lies the unwavering mission to bring new and innovative sustainability technologies to market. Technologies that reduce our carbon emissions, clean our air, and give us a healthier space to live and to work within the built environment.

Hospitality & leisure has been one of the worst effected industry sectors from the COVID-19 pandemic and it continues as staff return to work only to be asked to isolate. Operators are frustrated at the inability to plan effectively, thanks to the ‘pingdemic’ and rising infection levels. Smaller venues, cosy restaurants and ‘dark kitchens’ are more likely to be feeling the effects of air contamination. Low indoor air quality (IAQ) is caused not only by poorly maintained air conditioning, and poor ventilation, but subsequent contaminant particles from respiratory debris too. Once this respiratory debris becomes airborne, – from coughing and sneezing but also laughing and singing, and heavier breathing during exercise for instance, infection spreads. This spreading of infection is a threat to every hospitality establishment and leisure business in the country.

Large retail venues don’t have it any easier, heavier footfall all sharing the same air space as well as the usual array of viruses, dust and bacteria means air is laden with particulate matter. When inhaled these pollutants can settle into the lungs and cause distress to the body – particularly if those contaminants become absorbed into the blood stream.

Now, Evergen Air brings IAQ solutions for ultimate air decontamination, suitable for all hospitality and leisure outlets, including pubs, restaurants, and nightclubs. Accredited to ISO 16890 and certified by leading global institutions and laboratories, such as BSRIA, the ILH in Berlin, CETIAT, IRAM and the NPL, hotels, restaurants, pubs as well as shops and malls can rest assured that Evergen Air can protect businesses, staff and customers, thanks to its proven hospital-grade technology.

Typically, contaminant viruses, mould and bacteria particles fall between 0.1 – 1µm in size with an average of 0.126µm. Unlike other providers Evergen Air never uses HEPA filters to trap these particles, as the contaminants can still escape or regrow.  Instead, Evergen Air uses electrostatic precipitators which destroys particulate matter down to as small as PM1/ 0.1µm.

Evergen Air technology is effective in mitigating COVID-19 particles and is a vital component in reducing the spread of this disease.

Evergen Air can provide a number of solutions from portable ventilation of varying sizes to a full purification technology install either into new builds or retrofits into integral AHUs, HVAC and centralised ventilation systems. For any hospitality business protecting staff from exposure is just as important as protecting customers. Having staff away on sick leave means more pressure on both existing manpower and financial resource.

Evergen Air technology is an important part of any infection control delivered by a modern-day organisation. Call us today and book for a complimentary site review and preliminary discussion.
